Axis Meridi Technologies · Software That Thinks Ahead

Technology born from consulting. Built for the world.

Axis Meridi Technologies is our software division. It exists because the consulting work kept arriving at the same place: the tool the problem required did not exist. Rather than fit the problem to the tool, we wrote the tool.

01 · The Engine

OrangePeel, and the Deterministic Algorithmic Engine.

OrangePeel is our analytics engine. Underneath it runs D.A.E. — the Deterministic Algorithmic Engine — and D.A.E. is not a model. It does not learn a shape from your data and hope it generalises. It does not sample, weight, or estimate. It computes.

It decomposes an input space recursively and hierarchically, categorising each layer against the layer above it, to as many as twenty-five sub-categorised mapping layers beneath a single category, across an architecture built to address one hundred thousand main input categories. Given the same input it returns the same output — today, next quarter, and in front of your board.

There is nothing probabilistic inside it, which has a consequence people usually skip past. Because no step is sampled, every cell in a result carries a path back to its parent, and every parent back to the input. The engine is not merely repeatable. It is readable. When someone asks why, the answer is a path.

Nothing about it is a black box, because a black box is just a place to hide an assumption.

Specification of the Deterministic Algorithmic Engine
Engine D.A.E. — Deterministic Algorithmic Engine
Class Recursive hierarchical categoriser
Behaviour Deterministic. Same input, same output.
Mapping layers up to 25 per category
Input categories 100,000 main
Explainability Every cell traces to its parent
Black box None

Architecture, not outcomes. These are properties of how the engine is built.

02 · Why a consulting firm owns a software company

Because the alternative is a ceiling.

A firm that rents its analysis is limited by what it rented. The vendor’s assumptions become your assumptions; the vendor’s roadmap becomes your depth; and when the problem turns out to need one more layer than the licence permits, the honest answer is “we can’t tell you” and the usual answer is a confident paragraph.

We would rather own the ceiling. That is a slower and more expensive way to build a consultancy, and it is the reason the depth of our analysis is limited by nothing but the problem itself.

03 · The Platforms

Eight proprietary platforms in development.

OrangePeel The D.A.E. runtime. Recursive hierarchical analytics, and the reason the work goes as deep as it does.
AxisVantage The analytical surface for the engine. Decomposition made legible to people who did not build it.
AxisCommand Operating cadence: work, contribution and delivery in one system, for teams that have to prove throughput rather than describe it.
AxisHub Identity and the connective tissue across the suite. One account, one policy, everything.
AxisShop Commerce and merchant operations for businesses that need the whole stack rather than another plugin.
Veydros Learn Capability transfer, built out of engagements rather than out of a syllabus, so that an engagement can end.
MyMeridi The client portal. One door to all of the above.
BlackGrid Labs Security and signal research. Our sister lab.

Every platform above is in development. When one ships, this list will say so, and the number on the home page will change rather than the claim.
